FAQ
1. Does this zapper attract mosquitoes? How much area does it cover? Do you do anything but plug it in to electricity?
Answer: In my experience the bugs seem to be drawn towards its. I use it in my gazebo that is approximately 20'x 20' and never have an issue with bugs bothering us. I would hang it somewhere out of the reach of children, but other than that all you need to do is plug it in.
2. Can I set it in a table or the floor, or must it be hung up?
Answer: You could do either but if set on a floor I'd make sure it's protected from rain water pooling as that could shore it out. I have mine sitting on an outside pass through window shelf under a patio cover poolside. Works very well.
3. Does it work on gnats ?
Answer:I just cleaned mine out and I did see some that appeared to be gnats, lots of mosquitoes, a few flies and quite a few moths.
4. Does this bug zapper work during the day time?
Answer: It will work during the day but not effectively, since most flying insects are more active at night, also when dark light can be seen from longer distances. Using it during the day will shorten lifespan of bulb and zapper, & basically waste electricity
5. I don't want to kill the dragonflies. Are they big enough to avoid getting zapped?
Answer: Only small insects have been zapped at my house - many small moths and flies and such.Pest Control in stock
