Compressed natural gas cylinders are divided into four categories:
鈶?Steel or aluminum alloy metal bottle CNG-1;
鈶?CNG-2 is a composite cylinder reinforced with steel or aluminum liner and "hoop wound" resin immersed long fiber;
鈶?CNG-3 is a composite cylinder reinforced with steel or aluminum liner and "overall wound" resin immersed long fiber;
鈶?It is a composite gas cylinder reinforced with plastic lining and "overall winding" resin immersed long fiber.

(1) Natural gas cylinder
It is characterized by low production cost, safety and durability, high volume ratio, but small volume weight ratio and large weight. The natural gas cylinder for vehicles shall comply with the requirements of GB17258-1998 Compressed Natural Gas Cylinders for Vehicles. The cylinder body is generally made of high-quality chrome molybdenum steel. The rated pressure of the steel cylinder for vehicles is 16-20MPa. The specifications of the steel cylinder for vehicle gas storage produced in China are shown in the following table:

(2) Composite gas cylinder
The biggest advantages of composite gas cylinders are small weight volume ratio and light weight, but the production cost is high, the price is expensive, and the volumetric efficiency is low.
The composite gas cylinder reinforced by plastic lining and "overall winding" resin impregnated long fiber is made of high-strength carbon fiber and glass fiber mixture as reinforcement material and epoxy resin on special process equipment to achieve accurate positioning.

(3) Steel lined glass fiber ring wound composite gas cylinder.
(4) Composite strengthened aluminum alloy gas cylinder.
