The CE mark indicates that a product has been assessed by the manufacturer and found to meet all the appropriate provisions of the relevant European health, safety, and environmental protection legislation.
In order to affix the CE mark to a product, the manufacturer must draw up a Declaration of Conformity in which they declare that their product complies with all relevant directives.
