When you transfer money to a Venmo user, the amount is instantly added to the account balance. Since money transfers through Venmo are quick and easy, and instantaneous, you aren't able to make a payment rescinded after it's been made. If the recipient to whom you accidentally transferred money is a Venmo account holder, you'll need to request an exchange for that amount. The only possibility is that a payment can be canceled if it's made to a phone or address number that isn't linked to the Venmo account.
